| I adore this shop. Especially all the Buffy and Angel stuff. Possibly the best shop in Reading :) |

| They're replacing this place with a travel bookshop soon- not sure when, but they've got a sign up in the window saying so |

| They have renovated the upper floor and have turned it into the FSB just upstairs... supposedly they are going to have Sci-Fi upstairs and Fantasy downstairs... still as wonderful as ever. |

| This shop has not been an independent bookstore in years. Due to poor management they were bought out by Blackwells some time ago. When the larger Blackwells closed in Reading in April, this shop took on some non-sci-fi stock and pushed all its good stuff upstairs. At present it's also a pain to get to, due to the extensive construction on Friar Street.
There is a small comics store near the White Knights gaming shop behind Primark which may be an alternative for comics-buying. Don't know the name of the shop though. |

| Comics and sci/fi fantasy stuff now on ground floor. Reasonable selection of Manga too. |

| Over a week, the sci-fi/fantasy/comics stuff came downstairs, and everything else went into the tiny upstairs. More shops should do stuff like that.
The downstairs appears to be trying its best to become a mini-Forbidden Planet. Second best in comics to Escape Comics (on Cheepside) but better for other geek-chic stuff. |
