Tatters
This is a fabric shop, NOT a genuine Goth shop, but it's the only place for miles around that you can find a vast range of velvet, costume feathers, black silk flowers, an extensive bead selection and fabulous steel boning for corsets!!!
The Rock Box
Loads of heavy metal, goth, industrial, rock, death metal, ska/punk cds. Plus a few second hand ones too. Rare vinyls, limited edition cds, box sets, various t-shirts, hoodies, posters and badges.
Tattoo Land
Tattoo and piercing shop. Contains loads of designs, dragons, roses, tribal etc. Very friendly and helpful, Andy has done many tattoos for my friends, and from their own designs all at reasonable prices.
East West
This is a typical New age shop, incense, crystals, harmonic/meditation music, books on druids, celts, witchcraft, crystals, runes and all sorts. They also have a big selection of t-shirts on various bands, dragons, wolves etc. Velvet jackets, trousers, loads of beautiful candles, a cabinet full of gothic jewellery, dog collars and loads of spikey things! It's a very weird and wacky shop, not huge but the only shop I felt at home in when I lived here!
Wax Lyrical
Loads of beautiful candles. They have a good range of black/orange candles with spiders and pumpkin faces on when halloween comes around. Last time I went they had a lot of gothic candle holders and chandeliers. Is quite pricey but look out for the sales/offers.
Silk Road
Closest thing Sutton has to a goth jewelry shop though don't be expecting Alchemy type stuff, it's more African/Asian originated designs. I've made a few good finds there...
The London Piercing Clinic (Croydon Branch)
Part of the London Piercing Clinic group. Does a really nice selection of body jewelry as well as posters, smoking accessories (backie tins etc), clothing, and some very nice psytrance. I got me tits done there and the service was excellent. 24 hr advice line too ; )

good shop, but quite expensive. not really any gothic clothing but lots of chains and necklaces. They mainly sell skater clothing and band hoodies and t-shirts.
TopShop
Ok, so yes yes its not remotely gothic but if you can stomach the music and all the girls in baggy trousers this place does good cheap corsets (not enough boning by far but ok for the price), trousers/skirts/fishnets etc. Most of the stuff you can customise, especially the cheap'n'tacky stuff on the sale racks. I've managed to get an almost original wardrobe from here with a few minor alterations. But if you're a fully-feathered Camdenite, then don't bother unless you're desperate.
Nights in Iron
Absolutely gorgeous wrought-iron beds in all styles. They also do tables, chairs, and miscellaneous furniture in a matching style. Very helpful sales people and a well-laid-out shop.
Sunflower
Probably the only decent shop in Woking. Good for cheap tights, fishnets, jewellery, cards, stickers, badges, toys and gadgety type things. Small selection of clothes including some gothy type stuff.
records
ben's collector's is a very nice secondhand record shop. it's pretty cheap, but that means that if you're selling cds you won't get much for them. every so often large amounts of goth music seems to turn up on vinyl, particularly the mission for some reason...

Basic Electronics
Quite literally the best electronics shop in guildford, with the aid of the people who work there I taught myself enough to make a cyberdog-esque tshirt. They couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Very cheap, and they will order anything you ask for that they don't have.

New Age Consoles
Great little second hand games store. Sells new and second hand games for all 1st and 2nd generation consoles and a fair amount of prior machines. Also sells movies (popular and otherwise) on DVD. Also sells the consoles themselves, any possible attachment you could need for it, and gaming related books and well, lots of things :-)
Ottima
This place is a tiny little quirk-fest of a shop. Stocks lots of novelty items, mugs, t-shirts (some very good ones, and always in black!), a lot of Alchemy-style ornaments, flashy things, costumery, collectables, grown-ups toys, etc... sometimes it's very hard to figure out how they fit everything into such a small shop! Certain things can be a little overpriced, but it's definately worth it.
Spirit of The Past
Spotted this at lunchtime, mainly egyptian stuff but tries with Myan & Inca trinkets. This was only a quick look-see and the pendants did look a bit cheap
Eclipse
Used to be open in Farnborough but moved. Sells big range of body jewelry [cute bat/spider things that rock :) ] has the cliched coffin bags/spikes etc but has pretty celt design stuff, accessories, interior stuff to. The young girl who works in there knows her piercings and is very helpful!
Hits
Second hand music cd/tapes/vinyl/etc. Being only a small establishment the choice is invariably limited, but there are some grand discoveries to be made! Have seen 'Sisters of Mercy', 'Bauhaus', 'the Cure' items, plus the usual rock/metal.
The Armchair Armoury
"The Armchair Armoury is a reputable and established supplier of armour to re-enactors, live role players, medieval demonstration teams, theatres, nightclubs and films."
Skin Shock
Wonderful tattoo parlour. Judging by the setting, you wouldn't think it was much, but it is in fact staffed by the nicest and most talented bunch of artists I've had the fortune to come across. They are friendly, extremely professional, very helpful and all four of them have their own particular speciality. They are pricey, but you really are paying for good quality work. All this makes it a very pleasant tattooing experience. Highly recommended, no matter what the artwork may be! Just a note - they do not have a piercer at this point.
