Tintern Abbey is on the other side of the Wye. It is in Gwent in Wales.

I found this place extremley tranquil. The architecture is beautiful and I marvell at how this was achieved without modern tools! I only wished I was wearing a long, floaty dress (to glide through the ruins rather than walk)

Went here a few weeks ago and it is very lovely. Sadly it does get very busy so best to go on a weekday if you can.

Tintern abbey is really nice and ive even heard some myths about a werewolf that was there when it was in use by the monks. However it is not the abbey on the cover of the cure faith album. That was a place near where robert lived as a child.
