The first time I heard this band (it was one of the few new ebm/synthpop acts that I was not aware of) was at a night club, and I instantly loved it. 'hooked', as with all the tracks on their debut release 'No Sleep Demon', are solid, catchy ebm/future'pop songs. Fantastic production, and some really catchy keyboard lines make Sea Bound a band to watch out for. A stunning debut with a band not afraid to explore soundscape, great melodies with a hint of a retro sound combined with modern EBM/futurepop/Cyber beats. Taking elements from (the afore mentioned) Covenant, VNV Nation, 80's style synth (some reminiscent of a certain Lost Boys soundtrack) and a sprinkle of Haujobb this is quite possibly the best future pop album since VNV Nation Empires, give it a whirl!
