Description, by jen

They've been around for 10+ years, & DD are seasoned purveyors of danceable goth rock. Initially likened to the Mission (Veil of Tears), they've gone a bit clubbier now & their newest single "Room 57" was a recent hit on the mp3.com goth chart. Check the official website (url above) for a greater selection of their releases including their latest, Asphyxia.

Personally, they're one of my favourite bands around at the moment. First saw them supporting Rosetta Stone at Sheffield, when they had a drummer! (or was it Whitby?) More 'rock' than your average goth band, but better for it. Even heavier live. Perfection would come in the guise of a real drummer.

This album rocks - I was at the Dissolution leg of the recording, and they were very good live. The set list worked well, and the band threw themselves into it and agve a performance that was full of energy. The recording quality on the CD is pretty good, and the switch between the two recordings is also good (given that the second half was re-done in London). If you're a Dreamies fan, you want this album!
