I think it's the second-to-last Joy Division gig ever that is captured here. A great comp., although a lot of these studio tracks are available elsewhere. I highly recommend tracking this down on Canadian vinyl, as it includes and additional surprise live track that is not listed on the liner notes. The Italian version may have it too. Superior to the partially live 'Still', 'Substance' is the third essential purchase after the band's two 'proper' albums.
