Street Address/DirectionsBy Dudley Zoo and the castle. Bottom of Castle hill behind the Bingo place
DescriptionAmazed this one has never been mentioned before. The only reason (aside from Lenny Henry and it's recent earthquake) that Dudley is famous. JBs has been a shrine for all types of alternative music for somewhere in the region of 30 years (in 3 venues in it's time). Live bands most nights (sometimes actually some good ones too!!) and a mix of DJs. Thursdays has the younger crowd, nu-metal, dance and punk in the main room and Goth/Industrial/Cyber in the back. Fridays is generally a trendy night at the moment and Saturdays plays host to the "proper" rock night - so plenty of Motorhead then.
Opening Hours9pm-2am

Ive seen Paradise Lost twice here, this place rocks! Also seen Helloween supported by Blaze Bailey and Pist.On who kindly signed my ticket, that gig was too good and one of their last now they split. Plus some oher lesser known bands like XFM. Average price drinks. All round great venue.
