It'll have to be very sweet talk, and you'll be lucky to get anything more than the Sisters or the Cult, the DJ knows what Goth is but there's not enough people going and asking for goth to make sure it gets played. Otherwise a good night out, even if I have to travel 95 miles to get there.

The Tache is ok and is the only rock club in Blackpool it is Goth friendly through not a lot of Goth music is beeing played at the moment. It is Generally has cheap drink prices. There is a website www.thetache.co.uk which is a website by Brian The Tache at the moment is open Thursday-Saturday through there are sometimes openings on Sundays. During halfTerms there are no alchole nights for people of all ages.

Warning: The Tache has been taken over by evil alien moshers who are intent on killing and maiming. Should be cool but they mosh to everything. Its like a 50's B-movie "The incredibly strange Teenagers that became drunk and moshed to classic rock and House of Pain". Beware ! Appart from that it's fine. Cheap Beer on Thursday's is good (and no moshing in sight). Not that I am opposed to a quick mosh from time to time - but I have my two per night limit (unlike my beer - I have no limit on that).

Like the place... Like the alcohol... Like the music. What more can I say! Nice variety of music played. When I've been there there's been everything from Goth to Punk to Metal and the like.. One comment though... The website http://www.thetache.co.uk/ has gone scarily pink.... hmmm

Saturday is the night for Goth, but unless we show in sufficient and obvious numbers it isn't really going to happen. The only way to make it happen is to arrange a night to go en masse, and a number of tracks we'll all dance to. The Tache takes me as another place where an empty dancefloor means less profit, so tracks that no-one dances to won't get played, just like my local so-called Goth club (Phono, Leeds) The alternative is to arrange a goth event of our own...

yeaaars Well... not quite as good as they make it out to be above. But not bad, certainly the best of local clubs, pretty good. No goth music to speak of on the saturday we went up. Mainly the heavier type of thrash metal. A little to heavy for my liking but might not be for you. try it, you might like it!

I went to the tache last year, had a great time, friendly people. Met an Umpa Lumpa. Going again this weekend. As the website is down, just hoping the place isn't closed!

Went to The Tache while on holiday in Blackpool. The people are friendly and the drink is v cheap. The club itself is v good. My only complaint is a certain long haired male in the dj booth who doesnt play anything but his taste in music! (doesnt care that for 2 hours the dance floor is almost empty!!)

Cant comment on that one. Both times I have been, its a woman doing the music and she kicked ass for choice. My mate asked for a song and she played it even though she said she couldnt fit it in. We did have to listen to some crappy bands in between... :<

It's cute and they play requests so you can't complain too much. The variety in music is also pretty good so you're guaranteed to be accomodated for at some point in the night. And they sell lollipops what more could you ask for?
