DescriptionRun on a wednesday. The dress code (it says) is Smart/Casual, it's £2 to get in all night. Oh and the cheapest drinks are £1:50 for some bottles and pints. The same as the rock night at Hollywoods in grimsby just about as it's Dj'd by the same person. To have any chance to get decent music played, you'll have to request. But then there's still not much chance, most of the night is Nu-metal and pop-punk covers. The best we've ever got played is, Rammestein, Manson and NIN, which isnt great.

Always a laugh if you know the regulars on the scene! We've managed to get gODHEAD played almost every week since I started going (and NOT Eleanor Rigby either... overplayed!) and Marilyn Manson's Tainted Love... Cheesy but hey, good fun!

Justrecently we've been able to get more "goth" tracks played. Last night we had "Alice" by Sisters of Mercy and some other more Industrial based tracks played. Cant remember what they were though to my shame! But still nothing amazing, dont expect it to be a night aimed at goths. About 6 half decent goth tracks is outstanding!

Went there for the first time last night. The music was rather bad, though ants played Jack off Jill :-) Much nicer venue than Hollywoods. Not too stuffy, a bit bigger and they actually have somewere were you can sit down. Oh and I forgot to mentian the uv lights!

The UV lights are the best thing about it. Ants hasnt really played anything decent since Hollywoods got *popular* so no shock about the lack of different music. Still, far more *metal* than gullies and the cheap drinks make it fun...I think...

Suffers from being situated in Meggies [not traditionally an alternative haunt]. If it was in top town it'd get more of the old skool/hardcore crowd and would then be forced to play [decent] music to match the clientele. vis Gullies around 10-15 years ago - completely alternative crowd and so played some of the best music ever seen in Grimsby - sadly the alternative crowd in the town is too segregated to have any impact on the nightlife.

Dont tend to go as often as Id like due to been in Cleethorpes but on my last few visits its seemed a lot better...got quite a few decent songs played last time and theres a lot more people there then there use to be. Still dont think much to the pricing of sum drinks tho!
