The Limelight may be rather short on goth/cyber tunes on your average Saturday night, but it is the most goth friendly *non-goth* club in Belfast. Recommended are the 'Planet Earth' discos, once every few months or so-retro goth and electronica in abundance! ;-) However, the likes of the Young Gods and Gary Numan have played there previously, plus the bars open till half one. Good enough reasons!

The Limelight has went downhill in recent years, younger and younger are getting in, and hte msuic is changing to. But alothough with all its bad points, the limelight is stilla good palce to go, probably better on nights other than saturdays, as they are very young crowds in them now. Still I recomend you go sometime! BUt if your looking it up here, then your not from northern ireland as most people in NI have been at least once! :)

Good place for a decent night out, and for most local gigs, mainly student based during the week, but all welcome literate or not.

a great place if you jsut want to let go it's got a great policy of not carting how people act so you can dress and dance how you like with out people sneering most of the time. i recommend friday nights and am there almost every single saturday it's a better night if patrick is djing though some of the djs favor nu metal a bit to much for my liking

"The Limelight has went downhill in recent years, younger and younger are getting in, and hte msuic is changing to. But alothough with all its bad points, the limelight is stilla good palce to go." I'd argee with this, as some nights it is absolutely packed (which can result in being accidently head-butted!) but its still got its attractions, drink offers and (mostly?) decent music.

Now doing 'Air Guitar' nights one Thursday a month, with DJ's Dave and Darren... £3 in, and pretty cool for all. And, as usual, lovely lovely drinks promotions!!!

missed the Limelight last friday (or was it the week before?) as I ended up in the venue and was too hungover on saturday but hello to everyone who looked after the little drunk Welshman outside!

Lime has gotta be my venue du choix for headin out here. a tuesday night SHAG is (nearly) always wonderful, good drinks promos too (for those who like to imbibe their tennants by the bottle, anyway) saturdays are most excellent too. i just love it!!

look out for School Disco once a month on a Thursday night - lots of cheesy eighties electronica (amongst other music you might find at a school disco at any time between early 80's-present) a fun "back to skool" motif, and lots of folk wearing silly school uniforms! :-)

i have to say, i am i bit annoyed with the place in general. most of the students who go there (and lets face it, thats 90% of the clubs regulars) have the cheek to look down on some peoplefor one reason or another. school disco nite is a total let down as only some people bother to dress up. music is good, but can get a bit bad towards the end(one nite they played byonce or however u spell her name). only the cheap as hell drink and the good bands there save it. but go and make your own mind up, i'm just ranting here

the music is nothing to Wright home about but its not a bad club to go to for a change of scenery one big problem in my eyes is that there is no room to dance on the dance floor (quit packed) but apart from that it can be quit enjoyable if you have a good group of friends
