This is the place that the Housemartins and Fine Young Cannibals started, but don't let taht put you off. Paul the owner is a very cool guy, and a gentleman.

good place for a gig but is cramped. Just a converted house. Has played host to many bands who are now household names such as oasis and the manics.

Always has a brilliant atmosphere and the drinks are cheap enough not to drain your wallet! Monday's musicians nights are still one of the most unpredictable, but enjoyable nights out in hull.

A great place to see gigs, if a bit small. I saw Breed 77 here and it was amazing. It's intimate enough to get a brilliant atmosphere

This was my first time out for a while and I saw the screaming banshee aircrew play a few weeks ago, great gig, lovely people, cheap beer and nice decor. certainly is a little small, (like myself) but definetly recommended.

Allthough slightly cramped the quality of music is usually very high.
