I only went a couple of times a few years back, but it looked good then. Small to medium size, made an effort on the gothy decor, seemed friendly enough. If I had had more [any] money I would have been a regular.

M:Alice is now running from 8pm until 1am, or later if still busy at 1. There is a website at, though there's no guarantee that it'll be up to date!

Another time change - now 8pm until 2am (or later).

Went to malice for the first time in years and enjoyed every minute, proper goth playlist, friendly staff and dj. The most fun you can have on a tuesday night.

24/6/03 is M:Alice's 7th birthday, and will be the final M:Alice.

Er, I'm not sure where this has come from, but M:Alice definitely finished as a regular event on 24/6. The "M:Alice Memorial" night on 9th December was a one-off.

Whoops, this just shows you how you have to be careful of the internet. The Gossips site still advertises that the event is now. But now we know. Its not running.

M:Alice is undead! Due to the recent change of hands at Gossips, meaning we have lost M:Alice's sister night Tenebrae, we are reviving M:Alice as a monthly Wednesday night at the St. Moritz Club on Wardour Street - see for the latest info. If these nights go well, we may be offered a Friday night slot to restart Tenebrae. Current dates booked are 20th October, 24th November, 29th December.

Re. 29th December, at the time of writing (10th Dec), I am unable to obtain confirmation either that this is happening, or that it isn't. I am therefore assuming that it is cancelled, and I advise others to do likewise unless they know something I don't!
