DescriptionFriday, 7th September, £4 Entry, Industrial, Cyber, EBM, Synth, Alternative, Electro, Trance, Rock.

We're sick of going out in jeans and a t-shirt and feeling *comfortable* - that's what you do for a chilled night out in a bar or at your local. There's not much to do round here anyway. Going out should be a big, shiny, insane affair where you can dress up like you'd never do in daylight, fill waterguns with tequila, paint your face with a UV security marker and wear so much glitter that you blind the scallies before they get a chance to shout abuse! Need an excuse to get dressed up? (-it's not mandatory, of course) Well we DO! so here it is. DRESS CODE: anything goes (no sportswear tho - sorry)
Opening Hours10pm - 3am

The venue is great, the people are great, the atmosphere is great...unfortunately I don't know most of the music played there as it's all EBM/'bleep' stuff. I know the odd track here and there, but it's always such a fun night that my lack of musical knowledge doesn't put me off going there.

Totally insane cyber club night. Tends to get gatecrashed by scals from downstairs occasionally but still kicks ass. The peoples are very friendly once you get to know them, despite being intimidating at first. Oh and the afterparties usually feature lots and lots of drunken debauchery at Toms

This was the best night out I've had in ages! Must admit, I was expecting the folks here to be standoffish & exclusive, but it was the friendliest crowd I've met anywhere, ever!A relaxed happy place with great tunes - see you there on Friday...

Duke Street used to be really quiet but it seems to have fallen victim to the gentrification of the city centre. Now that a few trendy flats have been built and japanese and italian restaurants, is it only a matter of time before the Big Issue offices, Compass counselling and all the other worthwhile organisations that are housed there are forced out by rising rent costs? Could Le Bateau go the same way?
