DescriptionWell the time runs ever-nearer, the dates are finalised and a dream will soon become a reality.

Yup, as of October the 5th at 10pm the Scoundrel Club finally opens it's doors for business for the first time in a regular slot.

The venue, as the more astute of you will have noticed, is the Cavern Bar, a gorgeously sumptuous dungeon hidden away in the depths of Saint Nicholas' market in Bristol. Those of you who are still unsure where this is can view a lovely little map here.

The idea behind the club is to launch a night that truly caters for those who love their alternative music and lifestyle with a twist. That twist being from a slightly sleazy and highly decadent lemon that your general Rock and Metal night may not provide in your glass.

Don't get me wrong, the music will be varied. DJs will be rotated with special guests frequently adding to the atmosphere. The musical styles could go from a classic rock track designed to remove those leathers to a grindy industrial classic with the potential to just make all those surrounding moist in the right places. However describing the night will do it utterly no real good, the only real way to see this debauchery in action is to attend.

Doors will open at 10pm and will stay that way until 2am, however don't be afraid to turn up a little early and sample a few drinks in the Crown pub which is directly above the Scoundrel Club and is a city-centre haven for those with the alternative flavour in Bristol. Entry will be a single Pound so even the tightest of budgets can cope with such an investment in pleasure.

Please be careful, however, to not take the above too seriously. The night is being run with fun in mind and fun we shall have as the drinks will flow (several drinks offers will be available, from the 99p Straight-Shooters and Bottled Beers through to the £1.99 doubles and climaxing with special Cocktail offers which will be on, and vary, weekly), the music will seduce ears and the pleasure will come in due course...

The night is now no more I'm afraid to report. I blame the parents... There really should be a way of removing listings on this site.... Get to it dishmop!

I believe that this is now an irregular club now held in Cardiff?
