Description	The Pier is a small, goth friendly place. Wednesday night is alternative night, and its mostly nu metal with dance at the beginning of the evening (no-one dances though) and cheesy pop near the end.

Comment:	The Pier is a great place to go, however,it is advised to go during half term when people dont have to go to work/college the next morning, i went recently and there was about 20 people there compared with about 200 people over the half term period, loads of cheap booze though but the d.j. should play a more varied set.
