The Calling is always great,a true Trad fortnightly treat for all kindred spirits. There is a good mixture of music and a pleasant atmos.(Well, there would be,Goths are as nice as pie!)I've only recently begun to attend,so it's cool to find joy in something.

To put it bluntly The Calling is the Cambridge Goth scene (outside the internet anyway). It is a shame thay dont play more Rock, but it is still a great night and is one of the few places I can be myself. The people who go to The Calling are mostly o.k. people but sadly most of the women there are with their partners (as i`m single and straight this is becoming a problem for me but I might get lucky yet).

I recently took a trip to this club and found it a to be a great place for a night out. Really friendly place. Only knew one of the people there before I went but had about 10 people come up and speak to me and the friend I went there with. Nothing like the clubs in London. It's like everybody knows everybody there and everybody wants to get to know everybody. Some nice music, although they did play a few track which I found alarming to be played at a Goth club, but it seemed like everybody danced to those tracks anyway. Got invited to another night in the same place. Definately on my list of places to visit again.
