The music is mostly old metal, although the event at least offers somewhere 'alternative' – ie non-trendy – to go on a Saturday. The atmosphere is friendly and the largeish venue has a big dancefloor/mosh pit! |

| Recently Brighton Rock has moved venue. It is now at Cagneys nightclub, next to the Hilton hotel, opposite Bournemouth Pavillion. |

| Just to add to Mr Reaper's above comments, the Cagneys events are usually on the second Friday of each month, apart from August 6th 2004 and no date booked for December as yet. |
