acemy is main place for decent large size bands in brum... split level, reasonably large and is overall gud place... note nightware if ur little and wana actually see the band... drinks r expensive (so get pissd at scruffys beforehand ;) ) and make sure u get ther early and stand near the stage and DO NOT MOVE till the band appear (or you're doomed to trying to see the likes of brian molko from the entrance to the mens toilet-the only place you will be able to stand)

Really unimpressed with this place, went to see Gary Numan there and it was far too hot, too packed (and not just near the stage area) and the bass was too low (may or may not have anything to do with the venue itself) oh and the women's toilets flooded and were shut after the first hour. I will not being any more bands here, given the choice

Not too impressed with this place. They have the Subculture club night on Saturdays where they play rock, goth, metal, ska and hip -hop! Too much hip hop for my liking. And the drinks are really expensive.
