Description**FRIDAYS ONLY!!!**

Escape do a metal/indie face-off night on Fridays, with surprisingly clued up DJs. Old and new metal, goth, punk and indie are well catered for, in a huge nightclub. My ears are still bleeding.
Opening HoursFriday 9ish till 3ish

Basically there are three rooms at the club, the metal/punk/goth(well if you want to call it that) room, the indie room and the world war 2 scene, sorry chill out room, why do I talk so sarcastically, well heres a tip, try walking in there about half an hour after the place has opened, bodies everywhere, drunken bodies... Apart from that the Indie room is quite good actually with a wide range of music, especially for those of us who like alt. rock and the like. The metal room has its own setlist which rarely changes, expect the majority of music to be old/u metal with a pinch of industrial, punk and goth mixed in, although still quite good, at times. Beer is cheap, Cider isn't, dont contemplate drinking anything other than the cheap beers/beer promotions and shots as it'll cost you. Entry is £3, £2 with voucher. It's good for the first few trips, but I got tired of it quickly.

This was a good place to go, but it is starting to go like The Zone did, down hill at a very high speed!! plus, maybe if they put on different music sets each night, maybe it could get better also if they would take requested songs then a hell of a lot more people would be a lot happier,So it needs to wise up and the metal DJ put on more range of music and not stick to what he likes then it might help..........

Yep, went to this again a few weeks back and dead was not the word. The speakers in the "rock" room weren't working so it was indie all night and very few people had bothered to show up - looks like another club is going to bite the dust very soon.

It's been alive and kicking for the last couple of weeks :) Live downstairs, Indie and rock upstairs. Will probably be my haunt on Friday nights for the next four years :)
