The new venue seems to be a resounding sucess - after being relaunched in November it's got steadily busier and better each time and last night's 1st Birthday Party of D & B was no slouch! A great atmosphere, with a mixture of Goth, Deathrock and Punk, old and new being played, it's a mecca for those who like a slightly more obscure slant or non-bleepy Goth. The venue is a decent size, with plenty of dancing space, chairs and room to move. Seeing the dancefloor whilst Dead Kennedys were played last night, with a scattering of Mohawks, ripped fishnets and and torn T-shirts was a throwback to the Batcave days of yester! Bliss! With a short set by the prodigal Devillish Presley to complete the evening, this is a highly recommended alternative night which is surely set to grow in reputation and be a major contributor to the awareness of the Deathrock scene.

I went last Friday and had a fantastic time. Its great that there is no EBM or any of that music played that does your head in at those generic goth nights. Its truly unique and the DJ's are very request friendly.
