Tradgoth is short for "traditional goth", and as one might expect, this catch-all phrase is used to describe certain styles of dress as well as a type of music. The musical style generally has elements of rock, ethereal or punk to various degrees, and more often than not the lyrics and/or sound convey a morbid or bleak message to the listener. Tradgoth sound can be humourously described as "the music you listen to while striding back and forth changing imaginary light bulbs".
