Description, by dishmop

Fortuitously formed in the mid-70s, SATB was a vehicle for icons galore, including Sid Vicious, Robert Smith & of course herself of the unmistakable voice/eyeliner. Siouxsie's image & early singles "Happy House" & "Spellbound" caused SATB to be counted amongst the goth scene founders, though their sound became somewhat lighter & more eclectic in later years. When the band broke up in 1995, Siouxsie & drummer/husband Budgie continued on as The Creatures (a venture they'd started in 1980).

She say's she's not a Goth, she makes sicky faces and stuff, but it sure sounds like Goth to me!;P Her distinctive voice and the power of the music stays with you. Good stuff!
