Description, by jen
Founding members Brendan Perry & Lisa Gerrard have always resisted the pigeonholing of their music - they used to record in a 150-year-old Irish church, & however it might be classified, their stuff is grand & atmospheric. DCD isn't together as a band anymore but they've all moved on to solo work, details of which are available at their website (url above). |

Dead can dance, may well be one of the most outstanding and imaginative goth bands.
Their music ranging from medieval classical to Arabic to celtic. However not all goth's listen to or would admit liking DCD. Mainly becuase you probably won't hear them at a goth night that often. Still what they do offer goths everywere is probably the best Atmospheric music u weill ever hear.
